Tam Tam Taken Outdoor

Poor Tam Tam spends all day in our condo while we are at work. So we took him out to go explore our condo's garden by the pool side during last Saturday and Sunday morning. With cat leash on we took him down. We do not know how he'd react and were afraid that he just might run off and while getting overly excited. He did seem excited, was very curious and yet very cautious too. He was like super alert of his surrounding :)

So we sat at the gazebo and let Tam Tam get comfortable and observe. There were noises he was not familiar with. Each sound attracted his attention and his ears were erected and his eyes super wide.. hehe. Bird chirping, vehicles passing by, parents and kids passing by... all the while looking around and sat close to us :)

Then we took him to a nearby bench too to give him a different view. We guess because he was not familiar with the place, he was not about to sprint away and hide somewhere we could not find him.

Then out of nowhere, Chomel, a neighbour's cat appeared :) Tam Tam got super excited but still remained close to us... :)

Then like any other cats, they could not help being curious. Tam Tam started to explore.

...... and was strangely drawn to the shrub nearby, the landscape plant for the small garden. He was sniffing and started to chew on the leaves. I was shocked! Should he be doing that? Are the leaves poisonous?

Then he started to chew on the grass too !! I mean I've seen cats eat grass before and I'm guessing it has some medicinal ingredients. I hope. And Tam Tam did not get sick or anything like that. So that's a relief :)

Then Tam Tam started to run through the shrub and was running towards the pool !!

We panicked cause he jolted all of a sudden and really surprised us! Haha... Luckily my wife was holding on to the harness.. hehe. Then it was time to go home and we promised to Tam Tam that we'd take him again this Wednesday cause it's a Public Holiday :)
