Tam Tam and Tidy Cats

It's just amazing how this non-clumping clay can absorb the nasty smell of a cat's urine and poo poo. Like seriously, we almost always do not need to spray any air freshener. Unless of course if Tam Tam did not cover bahan buangan dia betul2 lah... hehe

Waaa... got deodorizing system lah! Ada kebolehan pengawalan bau2an yg power. So canggih. Pasir for kucing buang air pun got advance features.

Tapi kan, yg penting pasir tu kena sesuai dgn Tam Tam. Once for our old cat, we tried another brand that can do this and that, like can clump up the urine la, super absorb the odor la etc etc. End up our cat tu dok bersin2. Rupanya cat litter tu berabuk and dusty. Can see the dust 'evaporates' when we pour into the litter box.

Haa... yg ni penting. Ianya 99.6% dust free. Hurrah !!

Anyway, Tam Tam seemed happy. It is important to ensure that your cat can poo poo comfortably, right?
Beware, kat bawah tu ader gambar2 Tam Tam tgh poo poo.... don't tell me I did not warn you... Hahahahaha....

Last weekend, we bought not 1, not 2 but 8 sacks of Tidy Cats' cat litter. Satu kampit tu dah 4 kg lebih. Beli pulak yg dah siap packed 4 kampit. So memang le tak larat nak angkut 16 kg pasir tuh. So kena le pakai trolley. Nasib baik trolley dah memang ader kat rumah.

Masuk je rumah, Tam Tam perhati dgn begitu serious. Heran kot tengok kita orang sorong sacks tu. Pas tu dia terus naik atas pasir tu dan checking2. So I pun grab le camera... hehe :)

Dan setiap kali bila kami tukarkan pasir, Tam Tam mesti tak menyempat2 nak masuk and do his business. Kadang2 sampaikan tak sempat nak tuang habis kasi penuh bekas dia tu dah dia masuk dan cangkong. Aiyoohh.... dah emergency sgt lah tuh! Fikir2 balik kesian pulak. Entah berapa lama dia dok tahan sebelum tu tunggu pasir dia diganti...

Tam Tam Portraiture

Tam Tam & His New Litter Box

Somehow Tam Tam ni bila lepas poo poo dia mesti kais pasir nak timbus dengan begitu vigorous sekali sampai pasir bersepah kelantai. Kot ye pun nak begitu teliti dalam kerja2 penimbusan urea tu, jangan le sampai begitu enthusiastic sekali...hehe.

Perhati punya perhati, we decided that the litter box is too small for him.

So we bought a new one. A bigger one where he can comfortably do his thing and proceed with the cover up comfortably too :).

This is Tam Tam's old litter box. He does seemed a bit restricted. Sekali dia buat bisnes dia dalam tu dah macam tak der ruang lain dia nak guna. Kesian. Maklum je la, kan kucing ni pembersih.

Letak je terus Tam Tam masuk. Sesi suai kenal gitu. We think serasi... hehe :)

Lepas main2, lepak sambil ambik feel.... :)

Pas tu main2 lagi dgn penyodok baru tu. Followed with main mengendap2... hehe... so cute !!

Duduk2 sat pas tu lompat keluar. Later2 dia masuk balik and play lagi dlm litter box baru dia. Actually aku risau gak kot2 warna biru terang macam ni akan menganggu emosi dan kacau feel dia masa dgn membuang. Later he seemed ok cause nampak tenang je masa dia tgh.... hehe

Tam Tam kena spray ubat kutu

Vet nasihatkan supaya Tam Tam dispray ubat kutu. She said we can administer it at home. It sounded pretty simple, right? But that was not the case. Although Tam Tam did not quite put up a struggle like he did when we gave him medications, he did manage to make it a bit of a challenge for us.. hehe. I guess the former had to be taken orally and the spraying was just on his outer body. Still the sound of the spray made Tam Tam jumped in protest.. hehe.

Ni ubat kutunya. Terkejut at first bila saw that 'Racun Serangga' label. My wife said the vet said it's not poisonous to cats. But of course it's not. Silly me.. hehe.

Anyway, the spray costs a bomb! RM70.00!! Tu dia. Tak mati kutu2 tu tak tau la.

Note: 1st time tahu kutu specis 'Sengkenit'... hehe

Lepas spray kasi Tam Tam dok kat balcony to dry off. He did not look too happy. But only for short while lah. Pas tu he's back to his own self :)

Bila dah dry a bit, my wife sikat Tam Tam dengan sikat kutu. Bukan main syok lagi Tam Tam kena sikat belai... huh!

Then lick, lick and more licks...

Then Tam Tam diribakan untuk check kutu kat perut dia. Meanwhile Tam Tam continue his lickings... hehe.

Pas tu sikat2 lagi....

Bukan main rela lagi dia...

Lagi kita silak2 bulu dia cari kutu, lagi dia jadi syok... hehe...

Syok sgt sampai cam nak tido. Pas tu alert balik dan masuk dalam dan sambung jilat2...
